FAQs

What is a doula, and how can your services support me?

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and informational support to mothers during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. My role is to empower you to feel confident and supported throughout your journey. From birth preparation, relaxation techniques, & labor guidance, to postpartum care and meal support, I’m here to make your experience as joyful, grounded, and enriching as possible.

What types of meals do you prepare?

I believe that food is one of the most powerful tools for supporting your body during pregnancy and postpartum. I create nourishing, healing meals packed with nutrients to fuel your energy, aid recovery, and promote overall wellness. Whether you crave vibrant, fresh dishes to keep you energized or warm, comforting meals to restore your strength, I’ll work closely with you to design menus that honor your body’s needs and align with your personal preferences. My goal is to make nourishment simple, enjoyable, and deeply supportive of your motherhood journey.

Do you work with specific dietary restrictions or preferences?

Absolutely! I’m experienced in preparing meals for a variety of dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, and more. I prioritize using fresh, wholesome ingredients to ensure every meal is both delicious and nourishing.

Can you help me prepare for my birth experience?

Yes, I offer personalized guidance to help you feel prepared and confident for your birth. Together, we’ll discuss your birthing preferences and explore your options so you feel empowered by your choices. I provide visualization exercises to help you imagine and connect with your ideal birth experience, teach breathwork techniques for managing contractions, and share nervous system regulating practices to support calmness and focus. Additionally, I offer partner preparation to ensure your birth partner feels confident and ready to meet your evolving needs during labor and postpartum. My goal is to help you approach your birth with clarity, readiness, and support every step of the way.

What does postpartum doula care involve?

Postpartum doula care focuses on helping you transition smoothly into parenthood. This includes emotional support, newborn care assistance, meal prep, light household tasks, and guidance on self-care. I’m here to help you recover and bond with your baby in a calm, nurturing environment. My offerings include both day and night post

How far in advance should I book your services?

It’s best to book as early as possible to secure your spot on my schedule. For birth doula services, many clients book in their second trimester. For postpartum or meal prep services, feel free to reach out as soon as you know you’d like support.
